Denice R. Hinden, PhD, PCC, ELI-MP – President
Denice breathes vigor into management and leadership, transforming organizations with provocative strategic planning and coaching leaders and leadership teams. As co-author of the groundbreaking book, The Nonprofit Organizational Culture Guide: Revealing the Hidden Truths that Impact Performance
(Jossey-Bass, 2011) Denice challenges leaders to re-think organizational culture and how to use it in developing more effective management and change strategies. As a lead researcher and co-designer of Executive Transition Management (ETM), Denice helped develop a now widely used methodology for effectively supporting nonprofits through leadership transitions. Prior to Managance, Denice had a successful career in nonprofit management and leadership from program associate to executive director at the local and national levels. Areas of subject matter expertise include children, youth and family services, community development, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Denice is conversational in Spanish. She earned an M.S. in Human Services from Nova Southeastern University and a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Florida International University. She is a Professional Certified Coach.
Lawrence H. Hinden – Chief Financial Officer
Larry assists with financial analysis, strategic thinking and business coaching. He is a trustworthy CFO and seasoned entrepreneur in business operations and finance. Larry is a certified administrator of the Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI). He holds a BS in Information Systems and a JD from the University of Maryland School of Law.
Marcy Hyatt, Director of Operations/Senior Consultant
Marcy expertly guides our data collection, compilation and analysis work and delivers the wide range of support needed behind the scenes to ensure our success with each client. She brings significant leadership experience in quality inclusive services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and Jewish faith-based communal services work and training. Marcy holds both a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Sciences in Business.
Nichole Ingallina – Administrative Coordinator
Nikki is a persistent problem solver and the magic behind our social media. She brings significant experience in business operations, marketing and sales, and project coordination to our team. Nikki earned her BS in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.

Catrese Brown, PCC
Catrese is a versatile facilitator, coach and project leader. Her diverse experience includes education, training, human resource development, organization development, board development and managing leadership transitions. She is an experienced interim executive director. She has a keen eye for detail, extensive experience assessing organization issues, and the distinct ability to step into the middle of assignments without missing a beat. During the fall and holidays you don’t want to miss her interesting collection of colorful sweaters. Catrese earned her Master’s in Human Resource Development from what is now Towson University. She is a certified administrator of the Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI) and a Professional Certified Coach.
Bob Hoffman, MS
Robert is a master facilitator and seasoned coach. His expansive, broad-based experience spans the US, Caribbean, South America and Africa where he has worked with both private and public sector organizations. His areas of expertise are resident leadership facilitation, coaching leaders and teams, leadership development, board development, cultural competency, strategic planning, and appreciative inquiry. In recent years Bob’s primary interest is developing and preparing urban and rural youth for leadership in their communities. To this end he is founder of a nonprofit conference and leadership retreat center in West Virginia. Bob has a Masters in Personnel and Guidance from Montclair State University with additional course work in Gestalt psychology, large scale systems change, and appreciative inquiry.
Brian Fraser, PhD, PCC
Brian is a keen jazz fan who brings the power of that art form to his coaching, consulting, and training. He improvises with words and ideas to help his collaborators discover new ways of serving those whose lives they are dedicated to changing. His energy and wisdom are as infectious as a great jazz performance.
