You’re invited to try out leadership coaching:
Raising the Bar Seminars
Practice applying repeatable tools that help you break through the countless obstacles you experience daily.
Our virtual workshop enables you to fit them into your busy day and leave with lightness and renewed energy.
Build your mental fitness.
Many of us go to the gym or do physical activity that helps condition our bodies. We do it because we know it makes us feel better. Did you know that brief brain workouts, called neurobic exercises, enhance a leaders’ capacity to approach any work and life challenge with a positive, rather than a negative mindset?
Testimonials:
“I feel so much lighter compared to when we started the seminary.”
Our Raising The Bar Seminars are designed for nonprofit organizations’ senior leaders – executive directors, deputy directors, program directors, and managers – whose positive influence is needed to inspire their teams to see better ways to get better outcomes.
Your organization's missions depend on it.
Why build mental fitness? I was a nonprofit organization leader so I know the highs and lows you experience firsthand. I am so passionate about this skill set because it improved my life and work immeasurably. It elevates my confidence, creativity, and optimism in leading, daily. I am committed to passing this experience along to you.
Seminar Topics:
➤Week 1: Expand Awareness About Negative Emotions & Strategies To Navigate Them
In this seminar, we explore our sage and saboteur mindsets and learn the basics of mental fitness building. In advance of the session, learners receive a link to complete the Positive Intelligence Saboteur Assessment.
➤Week 2: Six Steps For Turning Obstacles Into Opportunities
In this seminar, we practice a six-step framework for finding the gifts and opportunities in any challenges we face. Learners have a chance to apply the framework to a situation that is important for them to solve.
➤Week 3: Use Core Values To Spark A Positive Mindset
In this seminar, we work through an activity to affirm or reveal leadership core values. Then, we explore what causes values to be out of alignment and how coming back into alignment creates new opportunities.
➤Week 4: Deepen Your Inclusive Leadership Style
In this seminar, we explore qualities of an inclusive leadership style and how to use this style to inspire “WE” oriented teams and organizational cultures where everyone thrives.
➤Week 5: Pack For The Next Leg Of Your Leadership Journey
In this seminar, we “pack” a leadership backpack for the next 6 months to a year of leaders’ leading journey. We look back on the tools and resources leaders greatly value, and identity attitudes and behaviors to let go of that are no longer helpful.
Raise your bar by attending one or all five sales-pitch free workshops.
We follow-up each workshop with more resources and ideas to continue elevating your leadership journey.
Why should I invest my time?
Leadership is hard. Your job is challenging and demands high energy, creativity, patience, and motivating yourself and others even if you do not feel up to it. You signed up for that when you said yes to leading.
How often do you find yourself:
Angry, agitated, or annoyed for more than a few minutes at common, solvable problems.
Exhausted at the end of a day because of seemingly unending challenges you haven’t solved.
Criticizing yourself harshly for mis-takes and failures.
Blaming yourself for circumstances you should have been able to prevent.
Surprised that team members aren’t cooperating despite your guidance.
Feeling unmoored without a clear sense of focus or direction.
